What Fathom changed

• The top announcement banner was updated.
• Removed the link to "Meet Luna, Our AI Assistant."
• Added a link to a new feature called "Remove Unwanted Visits."

Fathom is shifting its marketing focus from AI assistance to data hygiene. This new feature helps users clean up their analytics by deleting specific traffic data, which is a common pain point for privacy-focused site owners.

• Replaced the "See Which AI Tools Send You Visitors" feature announcement with a new announcement for "Luna," an AI assistant.
• Updated the primary call-to-action link at the top of the page to point to the Luna changelog.

Fathom is moving from just showing data to helping users understand it with an AI assistant. This shifts their value from a simple dashboard to an active tool that answers questions about traffic.

• Added a new announcement banner at the top of the homepage.
• Introduced a feature to see which AI tools send visitors to a website.
• Linked the new feature to a specific changelog entry for October 2026.

Fathom is expanding its analytics capabilities to help users identify traffic coming specifically from AI tools, which is a growing concern for website owners in the age of LLMs.
