What Scholarships.com changed

• The Educator signup link text changed from "Gain access to our new Educator Platform" to "Create your free Educator account."
• The Educator login link text was shortened from "Educator Platform login" to "Log in to the Educator Platform."
• A minor character truncation occurred in a testimonial footer ("match" vs "matc"), likely a rendering artifact.

The site is simplifying the language used to attract teachers and counselors. By moving away from "new platform" language to "free account" language, they are likely focusing on lowering the barrier to entry for school staff who influence student tool choices.

• Added a "Create Educator Account" option to the navigation menu.
• Moved educator access to a new subdomain (edu.scholarships.com).
• Updated the educator login description to focus on the "Educator Platform."
• A testimonial from Cameron P. was shortened or cut off in the footer area.

The site is moving from a simple login to a dedicated platform for educators. This suggests they are trying to get more schools and teachers to use their tools to reach students.

• Replaced the "SBB Research Group STEM Scholarship" ($2,500) with the "Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award" ($10,000).
• Updated the featured deadline from August 31, 2026, to September 1, 2026.
• Removed several footer-level directory links, including state-specific and major-specific scholarship categories.

The site updated its "Featured Scholarships" section to highlight a higher-value award ($10,000 vs $2,500) with a closer deadline. This suggests a shift toward promoting more prestigious or urgent opportunities to drive user sign-ups.
