Kustomer removes Sequel webinar tracking cookies
What changed
- Removed three cookies related to Sequel webinar technology (sequelUserId, sequel-consent, and sequelSessionId).
- Added a Stripe "m" cookie used for fraud prevention and device formatting.
- Added a Cloudflare "__cflb" cookie for improved load balancing.
- Added a "__Secure-BUCKET" cookie for internal testing purposes.
- Updated the "Uncategorised" cookie section to include active tracking instead of a "No cookies to display" message.
Why it matters
Kustomer appears to have stopped using Sequel for their webinars or live events. They also added Stripe fraud prevention and Cloudflare load balancing cookies, which suggests updates to their backend security and payment infrastructure.
