What KOHA changed

• Added a long-form educational guide titled "Best Sensitive Stomach Dog Foods [2026]" directly to the homepage.
• Included a comparison list featuring 11 other pet food brands, highlighting KOHA's benefits over competitors.
• Added new "Why Choose KOHA" sections focusing on "Made with Intention" and "Purpose in Every Recipe."
• Introduced new customer testimonials specifically targeting "upset stomach" and "diarrhea" recovery.
• Added a detailed FAQ section covering food intolerances, elimination diets, and protein allergies.

The competitor is shifting from a product-focused homepage to an educational, content-driven approach. By listing and comparing themselves against 9 other major brands (like Blue Buffalo and Hill's), they are positioning themselves as the expert authority and the "better" alternative for pets with digestive issues.

• Removed "Freeze-Dried Raw Bites" and "Freeze-Dried Raw Toppers" from the main Dog navigation menu.
• Removed "Freeze-Dried Raw Toppers" from the main Cat navigation menu.
• Removed "Freeze-Dried Dog Foods and Treats" from the footer category list.
• Removed "Shop Now" links from customer testimonials specifically mentioning raw toppers.

The competitor is simplifying their product focus by removing raw bites and toppers from the main dog and cat navigation menus. This may signal a shift away from raw products to focus on their stews and starchy bland diets.

• The order of recommended products in the slide-out cart was updated.
• Limited Ingredient Diet Chicken Pâté for Cats now appears as the second recommendation.
• Limited Ingredient Diet Turkey Pâté for Cats was moved to the third position.

The brand is testing which "Limited Ingredient Diet" cat food flavors drive more impulse adds in the cart. They moved Chicken Pâté above Turkey Pâté in the "You may also like" section.
