What Fastweb changed

• Removed a testimonial from a $500 scholarship winner named Mariah from Houston, TX.
• Removed a small formatting character (*) from the remaining testimonial section.

The removal of a specific success story reduces the social proof on the homepage. This might indicate a content refresh or a change in which types of winners the platform wants to highlight.

• Added a new testimonial from a $10,000 scholarship winner named Josh.
• The new testimonial emphasizes persistence, mentioning the user applied to 30 scholarships before winning.
• Minor formatting changes (asterisks) were added to the main header and the member count section.

Social proof is a major driver for student sign-ups. By adding a high-value ($10,000) winner testimonial, Fastweb is trying to prove that their platform leads to significant financial outcomes, not just small wins.

• Replaced a testimonial from a $10,000 winner (Josh) with a $500 winner (Mariah).
• Updated the advice text from a specific tip about applying to 30+ scholarships to a general message about not giving up.
• Changed the featured winner's location from Silver Spring, MD to Houston, TX.

The site replaced a high-value $10,000 winner story with a smaller $500 win. This might be an effort to show that winning smaller, more common scholarships is achievable for everyone.
