What Carbonexpress changed

• The Trustpilot star rating decreased from 4.6 to 4.5 out of 5.

The website now shows a lower customer satisfaction score. This small drop might change how new buyers trust the brand when making large offers on domain names.

• All educational content about software sustainability and green computing was deleted.
• The homepage was replaced with a GoDaddy "domain for sale" landing page.
• The site no longer functions as a resource for carbon-aware programming.
• A contact number and offer form for purchasing the domain were added.

The website has removed all its content about green software and sustainability. The domain is now listed for sale on a marketplace, which usually means the competitor has shut down or is rebranding.

• Added a new section on the moral and economic reasons for green computing.
• Introduced "circular economy" principles, including hardware repairability and recycling.
• Added a specific focus on how open-source software can reduce resource demands compared to proprietary tools.
• Included a call for collaboration between tech experts and environmental scientists.
• Fixed minor grammatical errors in the existing text (added missing articles like "a" and "an").

The competitor is expanding their sustainability narrative beyond just energy efficiency. They are now talking about hardware lifecycles and community-driven software as key ways to reduce environmental impact.
