Summary: Perplexity launches Comet AI browser extension

Why It Matters: The product is moving beyond its own website to live on every page a user visits. This makes the tool more useful for daily tasks and harder for users to leave.

What Changed:

• Added "Comet," a browser extension that integrates the tool across the web.
• Added new feature categories: Fact Check, Compare, and Shopping.
• Added "Perplexity 101" and "Learn" sections for user education.
• Expanded login options to include Single sign-on (SSO).
• Updated the search bar with instructions for @ mentions and / shortcuts.
