Summary: Techdirt launches "This Week in History" feature

Why It Matters: The site is shifting its layout to prioritize historical content and archival value. This helps build long-term authority and keeps readers on the site longer by resurfacing old stories.

What Changed:

• A new "This Week in Techdirt History" section was added to the top of the page.
• This new section highlights key stories from five, ten, and fifteen years ago.
• The previous lead article about business models was moved further down the page.
• A large block of text regarding government engineering incentives was removed from the bottom of the content.
